First Principal 172 x 365

I’m an immature five-year-old. It’s my first day in kindergarten. We are seated on a rug, listening to a man in a suit talk to us about school. I think it is President Kennedy. I ask the student next to me if she feels like crying too. She says no.

So... I'm assuming your first principal wasn't President Kennedy?

I'm pretty sure not. I think he was sort of busy at the time.

What a big class! Wonder how those two teachers handled all those students.
BTW...where are you in the pic? I don't see a little girl with wings.

Here is the same photograph on flickr. I labeled some of the kids - mostly the ones I remember and some of whom I've written about. I also labeled my photo as "me". (the wings didn't appear until around 1997 - I've always been a late bloomer.)
