Beef Villa Staff 29 x 365

When I worked at the all-night pancake restaurant I had some regular customers. One group was the night shift from Beef Villa. The night before I left for England they braved a blizzard and brought me a present: a stuffed polar bear I named “Chucky”. I still have that bear.

Ha! I guess it sounds kind of funny.

Beef Villa (http://www.beefvilla.com/) is a restaurant chain that sells Italian Beef sandwiches - a kind of Chicago style cheese steak sandwich (usually minus the cheese). They are delicious and I miss them and have to settle for a not-quite-as-good recipe my aunt gave me.
