"J" 80 x 365

“Buttered Carrots! I LOVE Buttered carrots!” and “I LOVE Amelia Bedelia!” were two of J’s stock phrases. Sweet girl, but at 16 she had few interests beyond carrots and Amelia Bedelia. Her mom had syphilis when J was born. It kind of ruined J’s chances before she got a start.

George, Tim ’s friend from Columbia, Maryland , must have often worn clothes that matched because I called him color-coordinated. He replied: everyone who lived in that planned community was color-coordinated – it was a rule. I now live about thirty minutes from Columbia and, still think of it as Color Coordinated Columbia.
