Neal and Marie 94 x 365

We met Neal and Marie our first year in Pittsburgh. We became close friends and saw each other often even though we lived several states apart. When Marie emailed us to tell us that Neal left her, it was like someone died. It wasn’t unbelievable, but a tragic shock nonetheless.

Frances took me under her wing when I first moved to the DC area. I couldn’t have asked for a better guide or friend She’d been a reporter for the Evening Star where she’d interviewed first ladies from Eleanor Roosevelt through Betty Ford. She taught me the meaning of integrity.
