Joyce 95 x 365

“Oh gosh oh golly gee!” or “Oh geeze oh man!” exclaimed Joyce with bulging eyes given almost any provocation -- missing homework, a bloody nose, the correct answer from a failing student. The half-year I co-taught sixth grade with this artistically talented former nun was full of these quirky expressions.

I love those expressions...makes me miss my midwestern roots. Thanks for bringing them alive again for me through Joyce.

I'd not heard either of the comments before I heard them from Joyce (in Virginia). I've said "Geeze Louise" though.

Thanks for letting me now your blog title, Lisa. I was wondering who lolololo was.

I'm thinking I should have disassociated this blog from my others when I switched to beta when I believe I could have. I took it off my profile though.

I think those are particular--although not exclusive--to nuns. Dang gummit is one of my nun friend's favorite expletive.
