Vilma 136 x 365

Vilma, our pretty British exchange student, was more mature than I, and the boys noticed that. After mom said Vilma could not see The Exorcist with one of those boys, Vilma requested a new host family. When it was my turn to visit England, her mother refused to host me.

Note:
If you've read my journal entries of this time, you know this is not the complete story. I've removed my involvement.

Oops.

Holy crap. Is that her? Did she look like that in everyday life? (Or is that Linda Blair...?)

That's her, Indigo Bunting. It is the photograph she sent with her introduction letter.

Mali - unfortunately many of my teenage relationships were as problematic. I had a wicked temper and low self-esteem. Those combined make a volatile combination. (I see it in my son)

Yikes. What a photo. And I can just imagine the wicked glee her mother got in refusing you. You gotta wonder about those people...
